Lamborghini Huracan Spyder Review.

Introduction.

The Lamborghini Huracan Spyder is the end result of another car, Huracan Coupe.

It has some remarks from the Coupe, it has it’s beautiful angular look which many people like as it is different from other cars. It also has it’s V10 Petrol engine.

The Huracan Spyder is different to the Coupe for many reason, one of them is the fact they have replaced the hard top with fabric so that the roof folds down. It can fold down in a amazing speed of 17 seconds while driving at a speed of up to 31mph.

The start up speed is also a thing that amazes people, from standstill to 62mph in just 3.4 seconds!

Performance And Drive.

The high revving V10 engine absolutely dominates the Spyder. With a 7 speed dual clutch gearbox, it is very well sorted, smooth to shift and has an amazing quick fire precision when you want it to.

When you put this car into a low gear mode, it may lurch a bit, but not too much that it’s hard to drive. It is a car that is better drove fast than slow, because of the steering wheel mounted paddles.

The Spyder has an Amina switch, it lets you go through driving modes and the accelerator much more nicely. Sometimes it does feel very sharp when in the most relaxed gear, but it does allow you to respond quicker the faster you go.

It is very sprung and has very little body movement to feel like you are being kept safe.

Interior.

The interior of the car is beautiful, with a red fighter jet button by the switch gear, this fits in very well and makes it look amazing.

The center of the steering wheel is a hexagon shape which also continues over to the air vent to keep it all in the same kind of look and shape.

Everything in the car is very easy to read including the digital dials and the switches. The information system is controlled by the rotary dialed and the driver can view the information system easily as it’s on the readout.

The seats in the Spyder are electronically adjustable which is great at it is so much easier to get yourself comfortable in them. They are made from leather and are very comfortable and supportable.

Passenger and Boot Space.

As they have adapted this car to put the foldable roof in, the interior had to be shortened a bit. The passenger side is absolutely fine as there is nothing else in the way of you or your legs. If you are a tall driver though, you might find it a bit of a struggle and be a bit cramped as the steering wheel is infront you as, so you will have less room.

Other features of the inside of the car is that, it has a great cup holder that pops out of the dash board and a small but nice little glovebox.

Where normal cars have a bit of space behind the seats that is called a ‘luggage space’, the Spyder does not have this. It does have a boot, it’s small but deep, so you have a decent amount of storage here.

Cost and Verdict.

The Spyder is priced very similarly to their top rivals, such as; Ferrari and McLaren. When you look at it, it looks pricey compared to the Audi Spyder, but because it’s a Lamborghini I think people expect it to be more expensive because of the badge.

To run this car it would also be very expensive because of the servicing, tires and the insurance of it. But even though it is expensive, it is more equipped than most other rivals because of the; Leather, Sat-Nav, Heated seated and all the comfort you could want.

Overall.

Over all this car has its good and bad sides. The good sides are definitely the fact it has one of the best engines in the world. It has an amazing quality on the interior and its easy to drive in small towns as well as a motorway.

The bas parts of the Spyder is that you can get easily cramped in there and it is very expensive to buy and run. There are definitely better supercars out there but this is still one of the best.
